Tamilnadu PetroProducts has received an approval for the closure of operations of its Epichlorohydrin plant located at Manali in Chennai, subject to necessary approvals required, if any. The board at its meeting held on January 28, 2013 has approved for the same.
The company has reported a net loss of Rs 6.83 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to a net profit of Rs 0.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 2.46% at Rs 307.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 300.33 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
