IHCL, Cochin Shipyard and IndiGo to see some action today

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a SeleQtions hotel in Munnar, Kerala. A brownfield project, this hotel is a management contract with CRB Hotels & Resorts. With the addition of this, IHCL has 14 hotels in Kerala including three under development. Featuring a combination of 55 rooms and suites, the SeleQtions hotel will be located at an easy driving distance from Kochi airport. It will house an all-day restaurant and bar, in addition to a fitness centre, swimming pool and spa, making it ideal for a leisure getaway.

Cochin Shipyard has bagged an international order for two commissioning service operation vessels (CSOV) from a European Client. These vessels will be used for offshore wind farm installations. The estimated project cost is around Rs 1,000 crore.

In-line with its vision to further strengthen regional connectivity, InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has launched direct flights on the Mumbai and Gwalior route. This new route is being introduced keeping in mind the high demand during the upcoming festive seasons.

Raymond has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022. The company has reported over 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 112.38 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 21.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 49.19% to Rs 1,546.56 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,036.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. On the consolidated basis, the company has reported around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 161.95 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 56.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.38% to Rs 2,190.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,583.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
