Tata Motors hikes prices of passenger vehicles

07 Nov 2022 Evaluate

Tata Motors has hiked marginal prices across its passenger vehicles. Effective November 7, 2022, weighted average increase will be 0.9%, depending on the variant and model. The company has been absorbing a significant portion of the increased prices of passenger vehicles costs but the steep rise in overall input costs has compelled it to pass on some proportion through this minimal price hike.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
