Tata Power’s wholly owned subsidiary -- TP Renewable Microgrid (TPRMG) & Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) have come together for setting-up & upscaling 1,000 Green Rural Enterprises. This alliance aims to expedite penetration of Green Energy from TPRMG’s Microgrid, to remote villages of India, while SIDBI’s financial enablement initiative will empower Rural enterprises to grow sustainably.
This collaboration is a step towards the commitment demonstrated by both the organisations in creating a sustainable future - Tata Power’s ‘Sustainable Is Attainable’ initiative and SIDBI’s ‘Go Responsive, Enterprise Incentive (GREENi)’ initiative.
This initiative will encourage rural enterprises to go green while will using affordable clean power and utilization of credit linkages for their businesses. The Initiative will also be significant in making the rural India go green and help the nation in achieving in sustainable goals.
