After the first show release of Kamal Haasan's much vibrated ‘Vishwaroop' on February 1, the viewers in Delhi and Mumbai asserted that there was nothing controversial in the film, not anti-Muslim or anti-India in any manner, the movie is so good and so super.

Viewers in Lucknow said that the controversy was a political game against Haasan. In Uttar Pradesh too, film theatres screened the movie despite warning from the Samajwadi Party. However, in suburban Mumbai, a theatre cancelled shows after request from local residents.

'Vishwaroopam' remains banned in Tamil Nadu after opposition from Muslim outfits, even though the actor has agreed to certain cuts after talking to those groups. The actor himself is scheduled to meet the Muslim leaders at 6.00 pm on Feb 1.

Meanwhile, a compromise on the release of 'Vishwaroopam' in Tamil Nadu seems to be in the offing after the state Home Secretary on Friday met Haasan's brother Chandra Haasan and representatives of the protesting Muslim groups to hammer out the differences.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has said that screenings could go ahead if they reach an amicable agreement.
