Life Insurance Corporation of India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.
The company has reported 11- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 15952.49 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1433.71 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 19.29% at Rs 222215.40 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 186276.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over 10- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 15854.35 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1479.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.09% at Rs 222948.85 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 187204.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
