ZF Steering Gear (India) has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company transacted the following business at its meeting held today i.e., November 19, 2022: The Board discussed/ deliberated upon the recent communication received by the Company, from ZF Friedrichshafen AG, in relation to the alleged infringement of the trademark/ mark 'ZF' and/ or 'ZF India' and amongst other ZF Friedrichshafen AG has allegedly demanded a sum of Rs 100 crores in damages from the Company. ZF Friedrichshafen AG has also provided an option to the Company, to meet and discuss the matter. The Company is of the opinion that, it has not committed any act of infringement.
