PVR, Mahindra Finance and Laurus Labs to see some action today

PVR has opened its first 12-screen superplex in the city of Kerala at Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram. The cinema will commence operations from December 5, 2022. Strengthening its foothold across markets, the new property is served in a luxuriously palatial setting with the highest standard of entertainment making it the city’s most advanced cinema.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (Mahindra Finance) has raised Rs 225.60 crore through allotment of 2,245 Senior, Secured, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, Principal Protected Non-Convertible Market Linked Debentures (Series AH2022 - I (Further Issuance)) of the face value of Rs 10,00,000 each, at a premium of Rs 4,890 per debenture on private placement. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 24, 2022 has approved the same.

Laurus Labs, as per the policy of the Government for captive consumption of power, has entered into Share Subscription Agreement and Shareholders' Agreement on November 23, 2022 with Ethan Energy India for subscribing 7,40,000 Equity Shares of face value of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 42.70 which is equivalent to 26% of the paid up capital of Ethan Energy India. This will enable the Company to consume 100% of the solar energy to be supplied by Ethan Energy India from their 10 MW Solar Energy plant.

Tata Steel Long Products has, on November 24, 2022, further acquired 4,68,75,000 equity shares of Rs 10 - each at a premium of Rs 54 per share, of Neelachal Ispat Nigam (NINL), a subsidiary of the Company, for an amount aggregating to Rs 300 crore (hereinafter referred to as the 'Transaction'), being Tranche 2 of the investment in the equity shares of NINL.
