Tractor maker Escorts has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company has reported over three fold jump in its net profit at Rs 28.14 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 9.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased marginally by 0.22% at Rs 1028.18 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1025.96 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
