JSW Energy has successfully commissioned Unit-V of 135MW of the 8X135 MW Power Project at Barmer in Rajasthan. The company has also achieved commercial operation date (COD) from February 05, 2013.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 296.32 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to a net loss of Rs 71.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 21.26% at Rs 1785.11 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1472.15 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 310.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to a net loss of Rs 82.67 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 33.32% at Rs 2395.24 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1796.55 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
