In compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, NHPC has informed that Ministry of Power (MoP) vide its order no. 9/7/2021-NHPC dated 05.12.2022 has intimated withdrawal of nomination of Raghuraj Madhav Rajendran (DIN: 07772370) as Government Nominee Director on the Board of NHPC with effective from 05.12.2022 and has nominated Mohammad Afzal (DIN: 09762315) in his place until further orders. The process for appointment of Afzal on the Board is underway. Further, in continuation to letter dated 01.09.2022, NHPC has informed that Ministry of Power vide its letter dated 05.12.2022 has conveyed the decision of the Competent Authority to entrust the additional charge of the post of CMD, NHPC to Yamuna Kumar Chaubey (DIN:08492346), Director (Technical), NHPC for a period of 3 months with effective from 01.12.2022 or till a regular incumbent joins the post, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
