IG Petrochemicals shines on resuming production at Phthalic Anhydride Plant at Taloja

IG Petrochemicals is currently trading at Rs. 30.15, up by 0.40 points or 1.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 29.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 31.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 31.55 and Rs. 30.10 respectively. So far 4027 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 44.00 on 31-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.95 on 28-Mar-2012.

IG Petrochemicals has restarted production at Phthalic Anhydride Plant at Taloja on February 01, 2013 and the operations have been stabilized. The company had shut this plant for approximately 15 days and the same is adequately insured.

IG Petrochemicals is a dominant player in the domestic Phthalic Anhydride (PAN) industry. IGPL has its manufacturing facilities located at Taloja, Maharashtra with an installed capacity of 1,16,110 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) as on March 31, 2011
