Star Health and Allied Insurance reports 12% rise in gross direct premium for YTD November 2022

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company has reported 12% growth in gross direct premium at Rs 7,589.5 crore (provisional) for YTD November 2022 as against Rs 6,770.3 crore for YTD November 2021. Out of the total gross direct premium, Health-Retail premium stood at Rs 6,983.0 crore (provisional) for YTD November 2022 as compared to Rs 5,835.9 crore for YTD November 2021, i.e. up by 20%. Health-Group premium and Personal Accident premium stood at Rs 490.4 crore and Rs 114.9 crore (provisional) respectively for YTD November 2022.
