Jaiprakash Associates has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company has reported 64.19% fall in its net profit at Rs 110.93 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 309.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operation of the company has increased by 13.34% at Rs 3516.02 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3102.28 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
Jaiprakash Associates is currently executing various projects in hydropower / irrigation / other infrastructure fields and has had the distinction of executing simultaneously 13 hydropower projects spread over six states and the neighbouring country Bhutan for generating 10,290 MW of power.
