Linc Pen and Plastics has unveiled its online store ‘www.officelinc.com’, whereby consumers can buy not only pens but also stationery through this platform. The format will be similar to the Office Linc store, the only difference is that the model has been shifted to a digital platform. The payment can be done online and will also have the cash on delivery convenience.
The service will be initially launched in Kolkata where products will be delivered at the consumer’s door step against a minimum order of Rs 200. Office Linc sells products starting from Rs 5 to Rs 65,000.
The company is planning to start its distribution through the online channel in an aggressive way. The products were earlier available at William Pens, TSG Fashions, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Indiaplaza online platforms.
Linc is one of the top three writing instrument maker in India. Mitsubishi, which sells its pens under the Uni brand, plans to start local production in the country in next 6-12 months. It will initially use the Linc Pen facilities for production but may later set up its own factory.
