Surya Roshni has received an approval for setting up of new Steel pipe plant for manufacturing of GP and CR coil / pipe at Hindupxur, Andhra Pradesh. The rationale behind setting-up of the new plant is to go for the backward integration of GP and CR Coil /Pipe, to ensure timely availability of GP coil/ CR coil at lower cost through in-house production, which enable the company to increase its production of GP Pipes and to cater the increasing demand of its products viz. ERW Steel Pipes Black, Galvanised & Pre-Galvanised GP Pipe in Southern India market.
With the setting-up of the new plant, the share of high value added pipes shall further increase resulting into creation of a much larger and stronger steel pipes business with economies of scale. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 18, 2023, inter-alia, has considered and approved the same.
Surya Roshni is into the business of manufacturing electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes & lighting products, with facilities at Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Kashipur (Uttarakhand) and Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh).
