Gitanjali Gem reports 13% rise in Q3 standalone net profit

Gitanjali Gem has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has reported 13.44% rise in its net profit at Rs 65.39 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 57.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation has increased by 20.39% at Rs 2452.91 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2037.43 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

Gitanjali Group has operational presence starting from sourcing of rough diamond, cutting, polishing and distributing, to jewellery manufacturing, which includes designing, mould making, wading, casting, sprue grinding, filing, and polishing etc.
