Ruchi Soya reports over two-fold surge in Q3 net profit

Ruchi Soya Industries has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 49.41 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 24.04 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 17.16% at Rs 8,171.22 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6,974.53 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

Ruchi Soya is engaged in vegetable oils and other food products. It sells high protein soya food under the Nutrela brand.
