During a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, British Prime Minister David Cameron assured UK’s willingness to cooperate with any Indian enquiry on tainted AgustaWestland chopper deal. PM also raised serious concerns over the AugustaWestland helicopter deal during talks with his British counterpart David Cameron.

During the meeting, India conveyed strong concerns over the allegations on Rs 3,600 Italian chopper deal. India has met and written to British officials on investigation, while the UK has only provided India an interim reply, instead of a full reply on queries on AgustaWestland, which is a UK subsidiary of Italian defence major Finmeccanica.

Earlier on February 18, Cameron had virtually washed his hands off the chopper deal calling it a matter between India and Italy and that he had no doubts over the dealings of AgustaWestland in Britain.
