Tata Power, one of India's largest private sector integrated power companies, has successfully completed the Phase II of the Residential Customer Acquisition Camps. With an aim to invite switchover customers to its fold, these camps have been hugely successful securing around 4,790 applications over the past week alone and during Phase II. This brings the total number of switchover applications to 7,950 including the 3,160 switchovers which were completed in Phase I.
In the third phase, a total of 33 camps are planned which has been commenced from February 18, 2013 and will continue over a period of a week, ending on February 24, 2013. Phase III will cover all major locations of the Mumbai city’s suburbs, including Andheri, Jogeshwari, Sion, Kurla, Mira Road, Bhayandar, Dahisar and Kandivali.
Tata Power has taken this step in line with its plans to rapidly expand its residential customer base in Mumbai. The company has embarked on a massive acquisition campaign through multiple acquisition camps across the city.
