SpiceJet to commence new service to Sharjah from Varanasi, Lucknow

SpiceJet, India's second-largest budget carrier by market share will be starting its operations to Sharjah which will be the second destination in UAE after Dubai. The airline company will soon be connecting Varanasi and Lucknow daily with Sharjah, taking its number of international destinations to 8 and domestic destinations to 45.

The airline is offering introductory airfares of Rs 8,999 one way inclusive of all taxes to all flights to Sharjah from Delhi, Varanasi and Lucknow.

Presently, the airline enjoys 19.3% market share and operates four daily flights to Dubai from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kochi. The airline will also connect Lucknow with New Delhi. The daily flights on the Varanasi-Sharjah and Lucknow- Sharjah will begin from March 7 and March 11, respectively.
