NLC India falls on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 396 crore in Q3

NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 76.05, down by 3.30 points or 4.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 79.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 79.45 and Rs. 74.95 respectively. So far 261164 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.25 on 08-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.20 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 79.65 and Rs. 74.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10545.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.02% and 9.79% respectively.

NLC India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022 (Q3FY23).

The company has reported net loss at Rs 398.84 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to net profit of Rs 229.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 26.04% at Rs 3163.11 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 2509.59 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss at Rs 396.35 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to net profit of Rs 229.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 39.98% to Rs 3982.49 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2845.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
