Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed its first hotel in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. The Greenfield hotel will be branded Vivanta. The 120 keys hotel is strategically situated at a comfortable driving distance from the Rajahmundry International airport as well as the satellite city of Kakinada, an important port.
The hotel will have the signature all day diner Mynt, a bar and recreational facilities including swimming pool and fitness centre. It will also offer over 550 sq. mt. of state-of-the-art banqueting space including meeting rooms. Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh is one of the state’s most important commercial hubs. Known for its floriculture, the city is called the ‘nursery capital’ of India. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have six hotels across Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions and Ginger brands across Andhra Pradesh including two under development.
