Vedanta has been declared as the preferred bidder for Kelwardabri Ni, Cr and Associated PGE Block by the Mineral Resource Department, Chhattisgarh in Electronic Auction of Ni, Cr and Associated PGE Block. In October last year, the Chhattisgarh government had conducted an auction for grant of composite license for the said block. The company had submitted its bid in electronic auction for grant of composite license.
The grant of Composite License by the Government of Chhattisgarh in respect of aforesaid block shall be subject to making of necessary payments, completion of other terms and conditions of the Tender Document, obtaining of necessary approvals / permissions / clearances from various Government Departments / Agencies and execution of necessary agreements / deeds in the matter.
