Samvardhana Motherson International has completed the acquisition of assets of frame manufacturing and assembly operations from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) on February 27, 2023. Earlier, the company had signed strategic agreement to acquire assets and signed long-term agreement with DICV for supply of the complete frame assembly.
Samvardhana Motherson International is one of the world’s leading specialized automotive component manufacturing companies for OEMs. The company, formerly known as Motherson Sumi Systems was established in 1986 as a joint venture with Sumitomo Wiring Systems.
