Tata Chemicals gets five-star rating for Aniali Limestone Mine

Tata Chemicals' Aniali Limestone Mine in Gujarat has been conferred with a 5-Star Rating at the 75th Anniversary and Star Rating Award Ceremony organised by the Union Ministry of Mines. The company has received Five-Star rating for the fifth consecutive year. With over 1,000 applications received, only 76 mines meeting Sustainable Development requirements were awarded this five-star rating.

This esteemed award is a recognition of Tata Chemicals efforts and initiatives undertaken for sustainable development which includes implementation of best practices in mining operations, minerals conservation, rehabilitation & reclamation of mined out area, environment protection and also various steps taken in healthcare, community care and skill development.
