JSPL hikes steel plate, coil prices by Rs 1000 per tonne: Report

Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has reportedly hiked steel plate and coil prices by Rs 1000 per tonne. The company has also hiked long product prices by Rs 500 per tonne.

Earlier in January 2013, the company had increased prices of its various products by upto Rs 1,000 per tonne.

JSPL is a part of Jindal Group and is a leading player in Steel, Power, Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure. The company produces economical and efficient steel and power through backward integration from its own captive coal and iron-ore mines and passes on the benefits to its customers.
