Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has sold 7.69 lakhs steel wheel rims during the month of February 2013, a decline of 8.01% as against 8.36 lakhs steel wheel rims sold during the month of February, 2012. The company has achieved a gross sale of Rs 78.21 crore during February, 2013 period as against Rs 93.54 crore in February, 2012. The net sales of the company is Rs 70.66 crore in February 2013 as against Rs 85.64 crore in February, 2012.
The company has achieved export sales of 88,020 wheel rims during the month of February, 2013 as against 54,014 wheel rims during the month of February, 2012, registering a growth of 62.96%. The company is expected to achieve sale of 9.50 lakhs steel wheels rims in March, 2013.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
