L&T's Hyderabad Metro Rail project bags infra award

L&T's Hyderabad Metro Rail project has received the Best Engineering Project of the year award at the Sixth Annual Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum Conference. Three project were shortlisted for the final round namely, Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (Rs 37,800 crore) of Azerbaijan, Hyderabad Metro Rail project (Rs 14,132 crore) and Al Abdaliyah Integrated Solar Combined Cycle Plant of Kuwait. Based on the various parameters Hyderabad Metro Rail project was selected for the top prize.

Larsen & Toubro is the biggest legacy of two Danish Engineers, who built a world-class organization that is professionally managed and a leader in India's engineering and construction industry. It was the business of cement that brought the young Henning Holck-Larsen and S.K. Toubro into India
