Adani Power rises as its arm commissions unit 1 of Ultra-supercritical power project

Adani Power is currently trading at Rs. 194.65, up by 2.50 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 192.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 193.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.50 and Rs. 193.00 respectively. So far 376313 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 432.80 on 22-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 132.55 on 28-Feb-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.00 and Rs. 186.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74882.47 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.88% and 12.15% respectively.

Adani Power’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Adani Power (Jharkhand) (APJL) has commissioned Unit 1 of 800 MW capacity of the 2x800 MW Ultra-supercritical power project situated in Godda District in Jharkhand. APJL will supply power under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for corresponding net capacity of 748 MW from Unit 1 to the Bangladesh Power Development Board. Pursuant to the above, APJL has started processing its claims under the PPA with effect from April 6, 2023.
