Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company has embarked on a massive acquisition campaign through multiple acquisition camps across the city. The camps have been hugely successful so far with a total of 11,242 applications received in the first three weeks of the campaign.
Of these 11,242 applications, Tata Power has successfully completed the switchover/changeover process for 6,938 applications and made them valuable customers of the company. The remaining 4,304 applications will be completed within the next eight days.
In the fourth phase, a total of 63 camps were held which commenced on February 25, 2013 and continued over a period of one week, ending on March 3, 2013. Phase IV covered all major locations of the city’s suburbs, including Andheri, Kurla, Mira Road, Dahisar, Chembur, Mankhurd and Kandivali.
Tata Power has taken this step in line with its plans to rapidly expand its residential customer base in Mumbai. The company has embarked on a massive acquisition campaign through multiple acquisition camps across the city.
