Most of the Asian Markets traded higher in early deals on Thursday, lifted by the bargain hunting after indices slumped on lingering worries over the Fed's tightening trajectory and renewed US banking jitters. Meanwhile, investors keenly eyed for more cues ahead to policy meetings of US Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, Bank of Japan (BOJ) and the European Central Bank. However, Chinese industrial profits subdued by 21.4% year-on-year in the first quarter, as factory activity struggled to recover from pandemic-related disruptions.

Nikkei 225 up 3.82 points or 0.01% to 28,420.29, Hang Seng rose by 16.60 points or 0.08% to 19,773.87, KOSPI larger by 5.48 points or 0.22% to 2,489.44, Taiwan widened by 54.56 points or 0.35% to 15,429.19, Jakarta Composite rose 50.78 points or 0.73% to 6,960.93, Shanghai buoyed by 6.53 points or 0.20% to 3,270.63, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI added by 2.29 points or 0.16% to 1,416.54.

On the flip side, Straight times slipped by 17.05 points or 0.52% to 3,276.86.
