Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 17% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The bank has reported 26.31% marginal rise in its net profit at Rs 3,495.59 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,767.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 36.91% at Rs 12,007.23 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 8,770.04 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported rise of 17.33% in its net profit at Rs 4,566.39 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 3,891.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 24.31% at Rs 20,730.88 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 16,676.33 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the bank has reported 27.61% rise in its net profit at Rs 10,939.30 crore as compared to Rs 8,572.69 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 25.16% at Rs 41,333.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 33,024.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 23.46% rise in its net profit at Rs 14,925.01 crore as compared to Rs 12,089.39 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 16.18% at Rs 67,981.02 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 58,513.50 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
