Karan Woo Sin has suspended the company's production for the time being. The management has taken this decision as the severe power cuts have been imposed on HT consumers in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The power availability is likely to only get worse in the foreseeable future. The company’s factory needs continuous power supply to run some of the Machines. Apart from the aforesaid, power generation through DG set is not commercially viable.
Also, the slowdown in demand and consumption in Europe which is the company’s main market is showing no signs of improvement.
Karan Woo Sin is a 100% export-oriented unit and is engaged in the business of manufacturing and export of socks.
