Patanjali Foods has signed a non-binding and non-enforceable Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Telangana for establishment of a food processing unit at Uppalancha village in Nalgonda district with capital investment of Rs 1,050 crore. The company has inked MoU on April 29, 2023.
Patanjali Foods, erstwhile Ruchi Soya Industries, sells its products under brands like Ruchi Gold, Mahakosh, Sunrich, Nutrela, Ruchi Star and Ruchi Sunlight.
