Godrej Agrovet reports 83% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Godrej Agrovet has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported 61.96% fall in its net profit at Rs 30.63 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 80.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.18% at Rs 1,505.98 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 1,445.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 83.21% fall in its net profit at Rs 23.47 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 139.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.24% at Rs 2,107.56 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 2,133.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported 15.70% fall in its net profit at Rs 303.64 crore as compared to Rs 360.21 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 11.52% at Rs 7,014.14 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6,289.34 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 29.53% fall in its net profit at Rs 295.36 crore as compared to Rs 419.15 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 13.06% at Rs 9,481.18 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8,385.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
