Tata Power organises 'Mahila bachat gat sammelan' at its hydro station

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company has organised 'Mahila bachat gat sammelan' to celebrate International Women’s Day at its hydro station. Over 400 Women Self Help Group (SHG) members enthusiastically participated in the programme, which included a special cultural programme as well as interactive sessions on technical guidance by resource faculty on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, government schemes for SHG, and others. The programme ended with fun-filled games for all participants.

Tata Power is India's largest integrated private sector power utility with an installed generation capacity of 5297 MW and a presence in all the segments of the power sector viz. generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), transmission, distribution and trading.
