Central Bank of India strengthens on entering into partnership pact with Reliance Big Cinemas

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 73.10, up by 0.90 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 72.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 72.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 73.50 and Rs. 71.00 respectively. So far 90628 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.80 on 15-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.30 on 13-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 74.80 and Rs. 72.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5344.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.17% and 7.68% respectively.

Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has entered into a partnership pact with ADAG firm Reliance Big Cinemas to launch its co-branded credit card. The card that has been designed especially for movie-goers, can also be used for shopping, dining, fuelling, booking railway tickets, payment of hospital bills and also on e-commerce platforms.

Central Bank of India has got 4,238 branches with a business of around Rs 370,000 crore with a Pan India presence of all the branches connected under the CBS platform.
