Amara Raja Batteries reports 41% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Amara Raja Batteries has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported 40.02% rise in net profit at Rs 137.98 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 98.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.61% at Rs 2451.81 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 2196.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 41.04% rise in its net profit at Rs 139.42 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 98.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.70% at Rs 2454.00 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 2196.93 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported 35.83% rise in its net profit at Rs 694.41 crore as compared to Rs 511.25 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.39% at Rs 10475.24 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8773.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 35.50% rise in its net profit at Rs 694.53 crore as compared to Rs 512.57 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.43% at Rs 10480.24 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8775.13 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
