Jet Airways to operate domestic flights from new T2 terminal at Kolkata

Jet Airways will commence its domestic flights from the new terminal T2 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (NSCBI), Kolkata from today March 15, 2013. The first flight out of the new terminal building would be 9W 2875 from Kolkata to Silchar. The country’s premier international airline has taken this step following the shift of its international operations to the new terminal.

Jet Airways is the largest carrier in the eastern region offering 76 daily services to/from Kolkata and connects India's cultural capital with major metros and destinations in the north east. Jet Airways, including its subsidiary Jet Konnect, currently operates a fleet of 16 ATR 72-500 and 1 ATR 72-600 aircraft, and will introduce an additional 4 new ATR 72-600 aircraft into its fleet. The airline has been operating ATR aircraft since 1999 and has covered its fleet with GMAs since the beginning of its partnership with ATR.
