Tata Motors has reported 1.6% fall in total sales at 74,973 units in May 2023 as compared to 76,210 units during May 2022. Total domestic sales were at 73,448 units in May 2023 as against 74,755 units in the year-ago month, a fall of 2%. Passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including electric vehicles, were at 45,984 units in May 2023 as compared to 43,392 units in the same month last year, up by 6%.
On the commercial vehicles (CV) front, company’s total sales were 12% down at 28,989 units in May 2023 as compared to 32,818 units in May 2022. Total domestic CV sales were marginally lower at 27,570 units in May 2023 as against 31,414 units in May 2022.
