Central Bank of India organizes Outreach Programme at Ahmednagar

Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has organized an Outreach Programme at Ekrukhe Village, Ahmednagar district in the state of Maharashtra where smart cards were distributed to the villagers during the function. The bank also distributed the loans under its newly launched women empowerment scheme 'Cent Kalyani' and other regular loan schemes including the financial assistance to self help groups.

Besides, the bank briefed the villagers about the various schemes and assured them that facility of ultra small branch will be made available as full fledged branch at Ekrukhe village. The bank also added that in future all government subsidies and NREGA payments will be done through the accounts only.

Central Bank of India has got 4,238 branches with a business of around Rs 370,000 crore with a Pan India presence of all the branches connected under the CBS platform.
