City Union Bank gains on inaugurating three new branches in Chennai, Kancheepuram

City Union Bank is currently trading at Rs. 52.10, up by 0.05 points or 0.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 52.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 52.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 52.45 and Rs. 51.90 respectively. So far 16167 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 65.60 on 16-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 38.75 on 16-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 56.80 and Rs. 51.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2677.50 crore.

City Union Bank has inaugurated three new branches on March 18, 2013. The bank has inaugurated two branches at Thiruverkadu and New Perungalathur in Chennai while one branch was inaugurated at Padappai in Kancheepuram.

The bank reported 3.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 80.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 77.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank.
