Apollo Tyres cuts tyre prices by 1-1.5 per cent on poor demand

22 Mar 2013 Evaluate

Apollo Tyres, one of India’s biggest tyre makers, has reduced prices of commercial vehicle tyres by 1-1.5 per cent and those of car tyres by two per cent. This is mainly due to demand slump in the tyre market on the back of falling demand for automobiles.

The company manufactures the entire range of automotive tyres for ultra and high speed passenger cars, truck and bus, farm, off-the-road, industrial and specialty applications like mining, retreaded tyres and retreading material. These are produced across Apollo’s eight manufacturing locations in India, Netherlands and Southern Africa.
