Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 179455.38 crore on September 28, and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 7286843.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 20297.51 crore, Stock Futures Rs 26040.51 crore and Index Options Rs 129506.68 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 3610.68 crore.
For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 1.01 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.03 and that of Stock Options was 0.56.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were United Phosphorus 6.00, Siemens 2.27, Alstom Projects India (APIL) 2.00, Kotak Bank 1.46 and IRB Infrastructure Developers 1.25.
Among most active underlying, RIL witnessed a addition of 12.75% of Open Interest (OI) in the September month futures contract followed by SBI witnessed an addition of 2.27% of Open Interest (OI) in the near month contract. Meanwhile DLF witnessed a addition of 6.90% of OI in the September month futures. Also, Infosys witnessed an addition of 34.50% of Open Interest (OI) in the September month contract followed by ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 16.59% of Open Interest (OI) in the September month contract.
