HDFC Bank moves up on the BSE

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs 611.05, up by 5.65 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs 605.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 610.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 612.85 and Rs 609.75 respectively. So far 31751 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 705.00 on 30-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 482.30 on 23-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 653.95 and Rs 602.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 145496.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.94% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.60% and 17.30% respectively.

HDFC Bank, country’s private sector lender has opened two rural branches in Jammu & Kashmir, in line with its expansion plan. The new branches are located at Chadura in Budgam and Dooru Shahabad branch in Islamabad (Anantnag). The branches were formally inaugurated by, Zubair Iqbal, Circle Head, J&K, HDFC Bank.
