IFB Agro Industries’ alcohol business is facing challenges due to a sharp hike in liquor prices due to a 30 per cent excise rise by the West Bengal Government, while the company's new fish feed manufacturing facility in Odisha will be operational from March 2024. Further, revenue from spirits, spirituous beverages and allied products in 2022-23 had slumped to Rs 932 crore, down from Rs 1,813 crore in the previous fiscal.

IFB Agro Industries is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing alcohol, bottling of branded alcoholic beverages as well as processed marine foods both for domestic and export markets.
