REC and PFC have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Hero Future Energies (HFE) for infusion of Rs 3100 crore each in HFE over the next five years. A sum of Rs 6200 crore, gained cumulatively with the MoUs, will be used for development of Renewable Projects across India including Solar & Wind for C&I customers, Utility projects and Green Hydrogen Derivatives and will strengthen the company by ensuring the financial closure for future projects in the pipeline.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
