In terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Power Grid Corporation of India has informed that the Committee of Directors for Bonds, in their Meeting held today i.e., on 29th July, 2023, have approved the raising of up to Rs 5,700 crore in FY 23-24 in multiple tranches to part finance its capex requirement, for providing Inter Corporate Loan(s) to wholly owned subsidiaries/JVs and for general corporate purposes by securitization of cashflows of 4 operational SPV viz. ‘POWERGRID Bhuj Transmission (PBTL), POWERGRID Khetri Transmission System (PKTSL), POWERGRID Medinipur Jeerat Transmission System (PMJTL) & POWERGRID Varanasi Transmission System (PVTSL)’ up to March, 2034. The details as per SEBI Circular dated 13.07.2023 of the first tranche i.e., Unsecured, Nonconvertible, Non-cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable POWERGRID Bonds-LXXIII (73rd) Issue 2023-24 to be issued under private placement is enclosed.
