Escorts, one of India's leading engineering conglomerates Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) sold 6,123 tractors in the domestic market, a growth of 8.6 percent against 5,639 tractors in March 2012. The total tractor sales including both the domestic sales and export in March 2013 stood at 6,159 units as against 5,888 tractors sold in the month of March 2012.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
